Who am I?

My name is Caroline and I am a fully qualified counsellor currently working remotely and I am committed to providing counselling and therapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment. Counselling can take place at your convenience over any remote platform providing you have a safe, confidential, quiet space to work from.

How I work

Personal Approach
As a counsellor, my clients are at the heart of everything that I do. I am also an integrative counsellor, which means that I have been trained in different modalities. This allows me to draw on different theories when I work with clients, as no two people are the same. The main theories I work with are Person Centred or 'humanistic' approach which allows me to look holistically at any problems that you may be facing in the here and now. I also use the Psychodynamic approach which looks at issues from your past that may be having a significant impact on how you are living your life today. I may also use other approaches like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) or Transactional Analysis (TA) if I think it could be beneficial. Using different counselling theories allows me to tailor my counselling to suit the individual needs of each client. Working integratively allows me to help clients have a better understanding of themselves, their behaviour, and a newfound self-awareness. This in turn enables the client to make any changes they feel are necessary when they are ready.

I am experienced in helping clients who have experienced difficulties with:

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
